Since the reopening of State Sponsorship applications and the release of South Australia's (SA) State Migration Plan list in September 2010, more than 10 skilled occupations have already reached State planning levels.
State sponsorship places under SA State Migration Plan have now been filled for the following skilled occupations:

On 16 November 2010, the South Australian Government further announced that Telecommunications Engineer, ANZSCO Code 263311, has also now reached planning levels and is no longer available for SA State Sponsorship under their State Migration Plan.
Australian visa applicants seeking SA State sponsorship in occupations where available places have been filled will have to wait until the 2010/2011 planning year or apply for an Off-List Nomination place once they become available.
Prospective Australian skilled visa applicants wanting to apply for State Sponsorship under South Australia’s State Migration Plan should note that they will temporarily close applications to allow for updates to the online application process on their website from 19 November 2010 to 23 November 2010. Partially completed State Sponsorship applications will have to be restarted once the new application system is launched.
