If you intend to apply for Victorian State sponsorship you should first check the LiveinVictoria website for updated information for minimum eligibility requirements, assessment criteria and processes for Victorian state sponsorship.

Recent graduates and international students should refer to Victoria's State Sponsorship Occupations List for Graduates in Victoria.

If you intend to apply for Victorian sponsorship under the Skilled - Regional Sponsored (475 and 487) visas, you should ensure that you have a valid job offer in your nominated occupation. You must also be able to evidence your acceptance of the job offer.

Applicants should also be aware that because of the high number of state sponsorship applications and the operation of occupation quotas, you may not receive a state sponsorship offer even though you are able to satisfy the basic eligibility criteria for Victorian state sponsorship.
